Ready, Set, Move: Capital Region will provide brand-new athletic shoes and a fun movement experience for approximately 375 second graders in Concord and Bow. Every child will be included, with no application or income qualification required.

A new pair of sneakers can help a child run at recess, participate in physical education, join classmates, and move through the school day with confidence.

👟 WHO WE HELP

Ready, Set, Move will support approximately 375 incoming second graders in Concord and Bow.

To allow for sizing needs, exchanges, and late registrations, we expect to purchase approximately 385 to 400 pairs of sneakers.

HOW IT WORKS

Participating schools will help measure students early in the school year. Once sizes are confirmed, Concord Lions Club will order new athletic shoes and coordinate distribution with school partners.

Our goal is to provide students with sneakers as early in the school year as possible.
